S: This art project made me very happy. I love typography and have always been drawn to weird ice sculptures. When I see a great one, it makes me want to go out and do something cold-crazy like construct an ice sculpture of Bjork.
From the article about Nicole Dextras’s process:
“Each letter is formed by massive wooden frames, which are pumped with water and then left to freeze for two weeks. Afterwards, the ice is revealed as the frames are removed.”
