Valentine's Day Cards

S: I spent most of Sunday afternoon making homemade Valentine's days for friends and family. With girl and boy pirates on them!

S: They turned out pretty adorable. I used templates from here for the piratey part. Instead of using felt for the hearts, like the blog suggested, I used red gingham fabric tape, which worked really well. I got the Valentine Scramble Gems template from here.

S: I just cut along all the dotted lines, then tossed them in the envelopes with the cards. Love!

Kome

S: Chris and I are madly, deeply in love with Kome, the newish sushi restaurant near our place. We have been there close to a dozen times in the last couple months and don't show any signs of slowing down our dinner treks there.

S: Everything on the menu is delicious and affordable. I would eat the shrimp tempura, pork dumplings, summertime roll, and beef carpaccio every day if I could.
