Wedding Ring Holders

At the Renegade Craft Fair a few years ago, Chris and I stumbled upon hollowed-out book ring holders by Pommes Frites. Even though we weren't engaged yet, we bought one. And this past April, my oldest nephew carried it down the aisle for us.

We also got a couple ring holders for gifts before the wedding and used them in a few photo opps. The first one is available here, and a similar Mr./Mrs. set is here.

Bookish Vintage Modern Wedding: Wedding Book Stamp

We had a ton of books at our wedding. On the sign-in table, on all the guest tables as part of the centerpieces, and even our ring holder was a hollowed-out book (more on that later). To commemorate the day on their pages, we decided to have a stamp made for the books, so that we (and anyone down the line in the future, be it children, grandchildren, or other family) would know that the books had been there on our wedding day. For the wording, we finally decided on:

I searched around Etsy and other sites like Paper Source, but ultimately decided on a $19.99 self-inking address stamp (7/8 inches by 2 3/8 inches) from Staples. And it's perfect. Here are a few photos from the wedding and also of Chris inking up the title pages of a few books.

DIY Monogrammed Wedding Vase

S: I saw these painted mason jars recently on Pinterest and decided to do something similar for our upcoming wedding next year.

I used white spray-paint, a Central Market Organics spaghetti sauce glass jar, and a free font from Lost Type. Print and cut out the initials and ampersand you want to use, then use double-sided tape to affix them to the clean jar. Then spray-paint two or three coats. Peel off the letters and let dry. I also accented the top with some blueberry Divine Twine. Perfect for flowers, straws, or pens by the guestbook.

Materials:
-White spray-paint
